Key Responsibilities
- Own technical vision and strategic roadmap for the chatEHR GenAI platform
- Recruit, lead, and mentor software engineers and data scientists
- Architect and deliver a scalable, secure, HIPAA-compliant GenAI platform integrated with EHR systems
- Lead development of agentic AI frameworks and user-facing clinical applications
- Navigate complex health system organizational dynamics and align engineering with clinical/product goals
- Ensure all AI applications meet healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and ethical AI standards
Requirements
- Hands-on engineering leadership with direct technical credibility — not a purely managerial role
- Deep experience building and scaling production-grade AI/ML or GenAI platforms
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, data privacy)
- Experience integrating with EHR systems and clinical workflows
- Proven ability to recruit and lead high-performing engineering teams
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed enterprise environment
