- Proven leadership in regulated or security-conscious environments with AI governance implementation
- Familiarity with security automation tools for code scanning, vulnerability management, and data classification
Signals
- ⚠ No salary or compensation range disclosed
- ⚠ Title is 'Director' but scope and qualifications (12 years, enterprise-wide mandate, external spokesperson) suggest VP-level expectations
- ⚠ Onsite in Boise, ID — limits candidate pool for senior AI talent
- ✓ Named, funded internal AI program ('EnableAI') signals organizational commitment and budget
- ✓ Cross-functional mandate spanning Enterprise Infrastructure and Security — high visibility
- ✓ Specific modern tech stack cited (Azure OpenAI, M365 Copilot, vector databases) indicates technical seriousness
- ✓ Security-by-design framing suggests mature, production-focused AI deployment rather than POC stage
- ✓ Micron is a Fortune 500 public company with significant resources to invest in AI infrastructure
