Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a data science and AI engineering team supporting clinical, operational, and research use cases
- Define and execute the enterprise AI/ML strategy aligned with Emory Healthcare's transformation priorities
- Govern AI model development, deployment pipelines, and production ML infrastructure
- Partner with clinical, IT, and operational leaders to identify and deliver high-value AI applications
- Establish standards for responsible AI, data quality, and model validation in a regulated healthcare environment
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience managing data science or AI/ML engineering teams at enterprise scale
- Deep expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and AI engineering practices
- Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in regulated industries, preferably healthcare
- Ability to bridge technical depth with executive communication and stakeholder alignment
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, EHR systems such as Epic)
