Key responsibilities
- Define and lead Dunia's AI research strategy for materials discovery
- Develop novel ML approaches that enable reasoning and discovery across physics and chemistry domains
- Bridge AI/ML with automated experimentation pipelines
- Build and grow the AI research function from the ground up
- Translate scientific research goals into scalable, programmable AI systems
Requirements
- Deep expertise in machine learning research, ideally in scientific or physical domains
- Ability to lead original AI research, not just apply existing techniques
- Strong interdisciplinary background spanning ML, physics, and/or chemistry
