Key responsibilities
- Lead, grow, and mentor a globally distributed team of Applied AI Architects serving nonprofits across education, global health, economic mobility, and life sciences
- Set vision, strategy, and operating model for Applied AI in Beneficial Deployments from discovery through deployment
- Establish hiring plans, team structure, and career development frameworks as the team scales globally
- Drive design of cohort-based accelerators, Claude Code enablement programs, and scalable partner infrastructure (MCPs, evals, reference implementations)
- Identify cross-partner patterns to inform ecosystem-level tooling and shared infrastructure
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface field learnings and influence Claude's roadmap
- Represent Anthropic as a senior technical leader on flagship, high-consequence societal partnerships
Requirements
- Deep technical fluency in applied AI architecture and large-scale AI deployment
- Proven experience leading and scaling globally distributed technical teams
- Experience partnering with mission-driven, nonprofit, or research institutions on complex technical engagements
- Ability to operate across segments, regions, and diverse partner types
- Strong cross-functional leadership across product, engineering, and policy stakeholders
