Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Generative AI team, fostering technical excellence and continuous learning
- Define and own the Generative AI strategy for production-ready applications across N26's banking platform
- Provide architectural and strategic guidance on LLM, vision AI, agentic workflows, and compliant AI solutions
- Drive end-to-end delivery of generative AI systems that impact millions of customers across Europe
- Partner cross-functionally to embed AI into core product, operations, and customer experience
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience managing senior data scientists or AI engineers in a production environment
- Deep hands-on expertise in Generative AI — including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and/or agentic systems
- Track record of delivering production-grade AI applications at scale
- Ability to operate at both strategic and technical architectural levels
- Experience working in regulated industries or with compliance-aware AI development
